    Event Description:

    Join us for another installment in our Issues & Answers programming, featuring Wendy Block, Vice President of Business Advocacy for the Michigan Chamber of Commerce. Wendy will share an overview of the Paid Sick Leave and Minimum Wage Increase statewide ballot measures, which Michiganders will likely see on their November 6th ballot. She will also explain how these ballot measures, if passed, could potentially impact the business community. 

    Wendy Block is
    the Vice President of Business Advocacy for the Michigan Chamber of Commerce.  Wendy advocates for Chamber members on a wide range of issues, including health care, legal reform, workforce development and employment law. Wendy has worked in and around Lansing political circles for nearly two decades. Prior to joining the Chamber, Wendy served as a Policy Advisor to the Speaker of the Michigan House of Representatives and held other legislative positions in the State House and Senate.
