Event Description:
Our next Issues & Answers program, Great Waters, Great Economy, provides an opportunity to actively share your thoughts on Michigan’s waterways, the economic activity that depends on them, and how to balance economic development and water preservation. The staff of the Center for Michigan will facilitate this interactive conversation and will offer multiple opportunities for you to share your own opinion.

This program is part of the Center for Michigan’s Your Water, Your Voice campaign, a statewide public engagement campaign. Over the next few months, the Center for Michigan will visit Michigan communities to gather opinions, compile the feedback, and deliver that directly to elected state leaders.

The Center for Michigan is a nonpartisan “think-and-do” tank and has spent a decade gathering Michigan residents’ policy priorities. Each year, consensus opinions are shared with state leaders. The Midland Business Alliance has offered several different community conversations during the past decade.
