Come enjoy the works of Midland's Carol Struthers. She is a wood cut print artist who also works in other mediums such as water color, pastel and pencil and ink. The opening receiption is planned for October 13, 7-8:30 p.m. and, like all exhibits at Creative 360, is free of charge. Carol Struthers was born in Cleveland, Ohio. She attended Saturday art classes at the Cleveland Museum of art while she was in elementary school and continued until her family moved to San Francisco while she was in high school. She received her bachelor’s degree in decorative arts (now called design) from the University of California at Berkeley. Struthers has been active in the Midland Arts Council as a docent and a member of the exhibitions committee. Her works have been on exhibit at many shows, won a number of awards, and are part of private collections in the U.S., Japan and Europe. Her works will be on exhibit through November 10.
