Name: E-Week Event: Business Model Canvas Workshop
Date: April 1, 2019
Time: 6:00 PM - 7:45 PM EDT
Event Description:

Whether you have an existing business or are thinking about starting a business, an important tool to know is the Business Model Canvas. Join us as Jim Hop, Northwood University’s Professor & Chair of Entrepreneurship and Franchising Management, teaches us how to use the Business Model Canvas and apply it to our business or startup.

What is the Business Model Canvas?

Business Model Canvas
is a strategic management and lean startup template for developing new or documenting existing business models. It is a visual chart with elements describing a firm's or product's value proposition, infrastructure, customers, and finances.

What does the Business Model Canvas do?

The Business Model Canvas breaks your business model down into easily-understood segments: Key Partners, Key Activities, Key Resources, Value Propositions, Customer Relationships, Channels, Customer Segments, Cost Structure, and Revenue Streams.

By digging into these elements of your company, you can recognize and act on areas that can be improved. It also reveals clear paths on which to build your organizational innovation strategy.

All E-Week events are brought to you by Northwood University and the Midland Business Alliance.
