Name: Embroidery for Everyone!: Dear Deer
Date: December 1, 2020
Time: 6:30 PM - 9:00 PM EST
Event Description:
Hand embroidery started decades ago as a way to mend clothing and grew into a creative endeavor that has seen a major resurgence over the past several years—particularly among artists who incorporate thread into their work, or use the embroidery hoop as a frame for fabric art. This meditative hobby is easy to learn and inexpensive with techniques that range from easy to advanced. No experience is necessary for you to create something beautiful from your very first try. You will receive a tote bag to carry your embroidery projects at your first workshop. For the wearable art workshop, bring in article(s) of clothing: facemasks, t-shirts….anything you wish. Class size limited. With Katie MacLean-Peters who has been doing hand embroidery for most of her adult life. Register for more than one workshop to receive a $10 discount (for tote) on subsequent material fees. Pre-registration required 3 days prior to each workshop. Dear Deer - Tues.
