For more than 40 years, Shelterhouse has provided shelter, counseling and advocacy to help victims of domestic violence and sexual assault in Midland and Gladwin counties rebuild their lives and renew hope. As demand for our services has grown, we are in need of a new client services center – one that will provide space and resources for all of our programs under one roof and will better serve our clients. The project will allow us to provide emergency housing for 15 families and enable easy access to programming for clients, including legal advocacy, professional counseling, and children and youth services. Construction is expected to begin in spring of 2019, with a projected move-in date in early 2020. For more information, visit shelterhousemidland.org.
