An employee’s relationship with his/her manager is the single most important factor in employee engagement. Respected, well-trained managers boost morale, and improved morale boosts retention. The 12-week, 6-session Certificate of Management focuses on the management and leadership skills necessary to increase the productivity and performance of your team. This course will help you find the right mix of guidance, leadership, motivation, and communication to acquire peak results.
The program begins with a DISC assessment to build awareness of individual styles and increase effectiveness with team members, peers, and up-line managers. The DISC concepts are weaved into each of the six sessions to empower managers to build collaboration and improve performance.
Sessions are held every other week to allow you to take the weekly concepts and tools into the workplace and report back on your results.
