KIDS AT HEART AUCTION TO FUND EXHIBITS AND ADMISSION FOR LOCAL YOUTH

SAGINAW, MI – January 16, 2020: The Mid-Michigan Children’s Museum’s Kids at Heart event is not your typical fundraiser. On Thursday, February 6th, this local non-profit is hosting for the 13th year and invites adults to come play like kids again. From 6 to 9 p.m., guests will enjoy gallery games and music while bidding on unique live and silent auction packages that promise a good time! A BOGO ticket sale will be running now through January 22nd at https://www.michildrensmuseum.org/bogotickets/.

The event features tasty hors d’oeuvres from the Bavarian Inn Restaurant, wine, craft beer from Oracle Brewing Company, a 50/50 raffle, silent & live auctions, and so much more. Highlighted packages in this year’s auctions include trips to Zehnder’s Splash Village, the River Place Shops, Dow Gardens, Saginaw Children’s Zoo, and Midland Center for the Arts. Plus, win your own personal chef or a quarter steer! In addition, everyone that donates a bottle of wine (valued at $10 or more) will have a chance to win a cellar’s worth of wine. Tickets are available for $50 and can be purchased online at michildrensmuseum.org/tickets/ or at the door on the night of the event.

Support from the event allows the museum to develop interactive learning experiences for our local youth; eliminate admission for field trips and special events; and explore what’s next for the galleries while fully engaging the curiosity and creativity of visitors.
Leading event sponsor Garber Management Group encourages guests to bid high and help the Mid-Michigan Children’s Museum enhance galleries and create museum access for all Great Lakes Bay Region children.

Sponsorships are still available! To learn more, visit https://www.michildrensmuseum.org/kids-at-heart-event-sponsorship/. A complete list of sponsors and auction items is available on the event Facebook page.
