Every year Primrose Retirement awards three $1000 Scholarships to deserving employees through a nomination process.  At the June, 2019 Leadership Retreat in Aberdeen, South Dakota, Founder Jim Thares announced an additional $1000 scholarship for each of the 40 Primrose communities nationwide.  With the Grandpa Andy Scholarships, Thares honors his grandfather, the reason he built the first Primrose 30 years ago.

Primrose Midland awarded the scholarship to Courtney Beauchamp, Coleman, Michigan who is currently completing her nursing clinicals at Delta College.

Quote “As the 40th Primrose Community, and the newest, we are excited to award this scholarship so soon after Grand Opening.  Our staff work extremely hard, sometimes in challenging circumstances, and that this extra award shows how much they are appreciated.  Courtney is a caring, dedicated team member, we hope to keep her on as a nurse after graduation.”
